The Story You Tell Yourself

Welcome to my first post.

To kick this one off, I would like to start from a useful framework I try to apply everyday in my life: The Story You Tell Yourself.

Every morning when I wake up, I have the option to change the story running in auto-pilot in my head. The one that was built over life experiences. That soothes our ego (or not). That resonates with our beliefs. Or so we think. We take this self constructed image of ourselves as gospel. As the only truth imaginable. As the only perspective to pursue. As the only air we can breathe.

I keep reminding myself that I can take control of this story at any time. Just have to learn which levers to push (yeah, a lifetime of learning, I know). A good remainder is that we’re only limited by our own imagination. Cut loose the limiting beliefs we all have and change the story you tell yourself today.
